Kelly Miller Middle School needs the support of our entire school community. We are thrilled to share information with you on how the Local School Advisory Team (LSAT) will be used as a voice for the school community. The LSAT is made up of parents, teachers, students, other school staff and a local community member. The LSAT is a key group to leverage and partner with as we increase transparency at DCPS and ensure you are a part of planning for school success. The LSAT meets monthly on matters that promote high achievement for all students, and advises the school leadership on topics including, but not limited to:

• The school budget

• Supporting the development and monitoring of the school’s goals through the Comprehensive School Plan (CSP)

• The alignment of school goals with the broader DCPS Strategic Plan.
